It’s amazing how innovative handbags have become now.  Some of them are quite disturbing, like this decapitated head one.  How weird is this?  there is something quite Medieval about it…..

After some disastrous experimentation with cocktail making…I have decided to give it a wide berth lol!  Suffice to say that I have gone back to my favorite tipple TEA!

I never get fed up of the stuff.  I drink loads, perhaps too much sometimes (which seems to be the case today).  I never get bored looking at teapots either: especially these unusual ones!

Well, I’ve reached my 190th post.  As usual I like to sum up what I’ve done every 10 posts or so….plus, I can see which areas needs attention.  Without checking back I already know that I haven’t done any more in my altered book for a while.  plus my Transcription and Surfaces haven’t been featured lately either.  I need to get on to these.

In the last seven days, Art I LOVE featured sculptor Ron Mueck and celebrated the birthday of Post Impressionist Paul Gauguin.  I featured a lovely teapot that cheered me up.

There was only one Bronte Bite in the last 10 days or so and that was my own personal review of the Most Haunted programme repeat from Haworth.

I did a few posts about Britain’s Got Talent which I was glued to; links to these posts are at the bottom of this page.

titanic mixed media, early art piece

titanic mixed media, early art piece

Well its my 180th post!  I have only missed 4 days since I started at the end of November last year.  What do I find to write about every day?  Well, not a lot sometimes I admit, but I still manage a paragraph or two.  What do I expect to gain from doing it?  I don’t really know.  Just like doing it.  Sometimes it does seem  that I am wittering  away to myself, but why break the habit of a lifetime eh!

I started my blog with just a few categories, now I have 14!  They are mostly about Art, (which encompasses design too) but there’s other stuff, like places, holidays, books I’ve read and am reading (Christ the Lord, Out of Egypt’ by Anne Rice, which I shall be reviewing when I’ve finished it) and what I’ve watched.  There’s always something to write about, even if it’s only to have a good old moan or rant (I hope that there’s not too many of those…).  My altered art book has not even reached the end of its first chapter yet (I’m just putting the finishing touches to page 24 of the 26 pages in this chapter).

ready for a wedding!

ready for a wedding!

Lots of things have changed since I first started writing my blog (me for a start, I was a lot slimmer lol!) and that’s not because I’m sat here blogging all day…it’s down to me STILL not smoking…which I will be celebrating with a seperate post later!  Our daughter is now married (see ‘What Happened in Vegas Stays here’).  And I’m still probably doing stuff wrong on WordPress…and sometimes the writing STILL goes massive.  You’d have thought that I would have got the hang of it by now wouldn’t you?
