Recently, I’ve discovered the Hairy Bikers (BBC2). Yes I know they’ve been going a while, but I’ve only just latched on to them (they don’t call me Ten Years after for nothing…). I did see a programme last year where they went to Morrocco and were cooking in a Tagine. Excited by this, I rushed to Lakeland and bought one! I’m glad I did as it has proved invaluable and I use it rather a lot.
My tagine, spicy, beany, ricey, stewy...yummy!
Anyway, these Hairy Bikers can really cook! Plus, I have picked up so many tips from them and the top chefs they compete against. They have a real no nonsense approach, and a real appreciation of food. I also like the way they use the natural larder of each county to bring that region to the viewers ‘on a plate’. I’m going to continue watching this programme – I’ve a LOT of episodes to catch up on lol!
