Well its my 180th post! I have only missed 4 days since I started at the end of November last year. What do I find to write about every day? Well, not a lot sometimes I admit, but I still manage a paragraph or two. What do I expect to gain from doing it? I don’t really know. Just like doing it. Sometimes it does seem that I am wittering away to myself, but why break the habit of a lifetime eh!

I started my blog with just a few categories, now I have 14! They are mostly about Art, (which encompasses design too) but there’s other stuff, like places, holidays, books I’ve read and am reading (Christ the Lord, Out of Egypt’ by Anne Rice, which I shall be reviewing when I’ve finished it) and what I’ve watched. There’s always something to write about, even if it’s only to have a good old moan or rant (I hope that there’s not too many of those…). My altered art book has not even reached the end of its first chapter yet (I’m just putting the finishing touches to page 24 of the 26 pages in this chapter).

Lots of things have changed since I first started writing my blog (me for a start, I was a lot slimmer lol!) and that’s not because I’m sat here blogging all day…it’s down to me STILL not smoking…which I will be celebrating with a seperate post later! Our daughter is now married (see ‘What Happened in Vegas Stays here’). And I’m still probably doing stuff wrong on WordPress…and sometimes the writing STILL goes massive. You’d have thought that I would have got the hang of it by now wouldn’t you?
